UR-120 AKA SPOCK
At the crossroad of technical advancement, watchmaking development and space-time inspiration, the UR-120 is a new stage in the constant mutation of the URWERK species. This UR-120 furthers the codes of the UR-110 collection and reshapes its concept.
This new satellite display of the UR-120 was born 16.5 million light-years from Earth, in the Beta Quadrant. That's where the original inspiration for its display, a V-shaped open hand, is customary: in Mr. Spock's civilization, on Vulcan. It relies on rotating satellites which split open so they can spin, each on their own axis. This unprecedented innovation allows for a substantial gain in thickness. It translates into a unique volume. At 44 mm long, 47 mm wide and 15.8 mm thick, the UR-120 case stands out with its perfect sense of ergonomics.

UR-100V ULTRAVIOLET
Fitted with a rubber strap, the UR-100V UltraViolet picks up the codes of the 100 family. On the UR-100V, the satellite hours and minutes display is complemented by new information. Once the 60th minute has been reached, the minutes hand vanishes and reappears as a kilometre counter. It illustrates the 555 kilometres travelled every 20 minutes by every inhabitant of Planet Earth. This is in fact the average speed of rotation of the Earth calculated at the Equator (rotational distance). Appearing exactly opposite is the Earth's revolution around the sun (orbital distance), i.e. 35,740 kilometres per 20 minutes.

UR-112 AGGREGAT ODYSSÉE
Gleaming like Padme Amidala's J-type 327; equipped with two large round eye-like windows like Archie; the ‘owl ship’ from Watchmen. Streamlined like a Klingon Bird of Prey. Grooved like the hull of the Battlestar Galactica.
The UR-112 Aggregat Odyssey emerges from the URWERK shipyard in a limited edition, featuring an infinite number of flat, curved, grooved, sculpted, screwed and bonded surfaces, all incorporating advanced finishes alternating between matt and glossy, sandblasted and polished. This painstaking, meticulous work contributes to enhancing the two large cockpits where the rotating prisms representing the UR-112's unique signature operate, akin to two advanced observation posts.
“A watch is a round object, flat with two hands. We are so used to them that they even got a pictogram status. And then in 1997 we came with URWERK making watches in our own way...”Martin Frei, Chief designer and co-founder
Brand Heritage
URWERK is founded in 1997 with one goal: to design and craft haute horlogerie timepieces blending tradition with futuristic vision. 'URWERK' has its origins far from Switzerland, in the town of UR in Mesopotamia, the very first place where our perception of time was molded. While WERK means to work, create, evolve, shape, forge and to arouse emotions, in German.
